Air Conditioner from Home Depot

No one should be pregnant in summer! My air conditioner broke about a week after the warranty ended at the Home Depot. I bought one of those overpriced floor models a year ago so that I could easily move it from room to room. It seemed like a perfect idea. It cooled the entire floor, which made up for its bulky unattractive size. Unfortunately, it died.

I called Home Depot to see if they could fix it for me, since the local repair shop told me they were backed up. I asked if they had anyone on staff that could take a look at the unit. The manager told me to bring it in and he would see what they could do. I thanked him and told him I was so grateful because I was nine months pregnant and dying in this heat!

I asked my husband to take the air conditioning unit in to Home Depot that night. He returned with a brand new model. The manager decided to give me a brand new unit so I could have air conditioning that very night.

I am overwhelmed by this generosity towards a customer. He was also very smart! Now I have to shop there all the time and we are just starting out so there are a lot of things we will need to buy.

And even better! Now they neighbors won't have to see a pregnant lady sitting in a kiddie pool on her porch.
